Chemistry: Ability to Burn (Chemical Property) with Steel Wool & 9-Volt Battery

 The steel wool definitely produced light and heat!
The steel wool just needed an ignition source (battery) to get started and when the source was removed it continued to produce light and heat (fire - burning) because of it's interaction with OXYGEN!
